It’s the perfect cake for kids parties or for any upcoming special occasion.
Aussie mum and former MasterChef star Steph de Sousa, made this fantastic rainbow-layered cake with only a few ingredients and less than five steps.
The show-stopping six-tier rainbow cake is ideal for those looking for a fuss-free and budget dessert. It uses a pantry favourite, Aldi’s 99c White Mill Vanilla Cake Mix, to make something marvellous that will impress all your guests.
To recreate this cake hack at home:
- Make three Aldi White Mill Vanilla Cake Mixes as per the box instructions.
- Add any extra flavours to the batter if that tickles your fancy, whether it’s a dash of vanilla or a sprinkle of cinnamon. Also, add any food colouring if you are making a rainbow cake.
- Once you’ve cooked and cooled your cake, ice the cake with a buttercream icing and decorate with chocolates and sprinkles.
The Instagram reel has garnered over 187,000 views and 151 comments.
