How to fold paper flowers

Materials needed

  • Scissors
  • Photocopy paper, cardstock or leftover wallpaper in various colours
  • Tape
  • Glue

How to fold a paper lily

Step 1

Fold a paper square diagonally into a triangle.

Step 2

Fold the two corners into the centre to form a diamond.

Step 3

Flatten each diamond so you have three kite shapes.

Step 4

Fold down tops of outer kites to align with the main triangle.

Step 5

Fold outer kites in half vertically (folding them inwards).

Step 6

Curl whole shape inwards and secure inside edges with double-sided tape to form one petal. Make five petals, then join with double-sided tape to make a flower.
