Where do I redeem an Amazon promo code?
There are a couple of ways to use an Amazon promo code, but the most important thing is to make sure you apply it before you pay and confirm your order.
To add a code during the checkout process:
Once you’ve added your items to the cart, go to the check-out by clicking the basket icon at the top right. Go through the checkout process until you get to the payment details. There will be a list of available cards to pay with (or the option to add one) followed by a field that says ‘Enter a gift card or promotional code’. Put your Amazon promo code in and click ‘Apply’.
Note: Make sure the code is exactly as it’s written. Or, as Amazon advises “Don’t add spaces before, inside of, or after the promotion code.”
To add a code that’s offered on a product page:
Sometimes Amazon promo codes can be activated before you even add to cart. You’ll usually see an offer highlighted in green, and can click to activate it. Here are some screenshots of an example we saw on Amazon in 2025.
Can I use an Amazon promo code more than once?
As great as that would be, Amazon is among the (many) retailers that don’t let you use a promo code again and again.
But the good news is that you can add promo codes to your account and use them later. So, for example, if you’re at the checkout and add a code, then need to log off for some reason, it will be waiting for you next time you’re ready to make a valid purchase (as long as it hasn’t expired).
Amazon also adds valid promos back to your account if an order is cancelled (but this excludes returns).
How can I get 15% off on Amazon?
Amazon sometimes runs promo code offers or other deals that give you 15% off for a specific category or type of purchase. For example, there was a 15% off qualifying purchases offer on Amazon Australia which ran from August 2024 to January 2025.
There is also a 15% Baby Registry Completion Discount, which you can use if you’re an Amazon Prime member and have created Baby Wishlist and have remaining items on it that are sold and shipped by Amazon Australia. You can also get a discount of 10% if you’re not a Prime member and meet the offer conditions.
How we find the best Amazon deals
Amazon has some great homewares and essentials, but we know all too well how hard it can be to find the best items and the best prices. So, to make it easier, we tirelessly scour Amazon Australia to uncover the best and most relevant Amazon promo code offers and other deals. We test them all before adding them here, remove expired offers and update this page regularly so you can be confident you’re getting the latest and greatest savings.
Something that’s really important to note about Amazon is that the Australian shop is different to the American one. We’ve seem some pretty enticing offers out there that unfortunately are only available on the US site. So, if you see any offers that aren’t listed here, make sure they’re for the correct website. (And feel free to let us know about them!)

What We’re Shopping On Amazon
Amazon Australia has just about anything you could ever imagine buying (maybe more). But it’s not always the easiest shop to browse, or even search. So if you’re keen to avoid going down a rabbit-hole (which we have done many times), here are some of the items at the top of our Amazon wishlists.
- Ecovacs Deebot X5 Omni robot vacuum, from $1999 (RRP $2399): Robot vacuums can make routine cleaning a lot easier, and this best-selling model doubles as a mop to add even more value.
- Dreamaker Essential Washable electric blanket (queen), from $69.95 (RRP $89.95): This bestselling electric blanket (it was #1 on Amazon when we checked) has individual heating zones and three levels of heat. It’s got a 4.4-star average rating from over 1220 global customers on Amazon and is also one of the most affordable options to make it onto our list of the best electric blankets.
- Ninja XXXL Flex Drawer Air Fryer, from $295: With a maximum capacity of 10.4 litres and the flexibility to use one or two zones at the same time, this air fryer from Ninja is a great example of why it’s one of the leading brands. (Amazon also offered a coupon for it when we checked it in June 2025).
- Sperax 3 in 1 Walking Pad, from $239.99 (RRP $299.99): Walking pads are a great way to stay moving while you’re doing desk work, and this one for Amazon has three functions – walking, jogging and vibration – as well as a remote control and app. It’s also got a 4.5-star average rating from over 355 customers, with one Australian verified purchaser saying: “Great walking pad! It’s quiet, easy to use, and fits well in small spaces. Perfect for walking while working or watching TV.”
Shipping, payments and returns
Does Amazon offer free shipping?
If you’re an Amazon Prime member, you’ll get free shipping on just about every order. Otherwise, Amazon provides free shipping within Australia for eligible orders over $59.
Eligible items are indicated by ‘FREE Delivery’ messaging and include items sold by Amazon Australia or third-party sellers that are fulfilled by Amazon Australia. Some purchases are shipped directly from the seller so may not be able to be delivered free of charge. Similar conditions apply to the Amazon Global Store, with products dispatched and sold by specific Amazon entities.
Is Amazon shipping fast?
Delivery times vary based on location, item size and other factors. Same Day and Express Delivery are available for select postcodes in Metro Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, if orders are placed before the cut-off time.
Same Day Delivery is for residential addresses and Amazon Parcel Lockers in eligible areas, while Express Delivery offers next-day delivery to specified areas. However, availability depends on your shipping address and may not apply to all items or addresses.
Prime members enjoy expedited delivery with no minimum spend, except in select remote areas.
Does Amazon offer free returns?
Yes, Amazon offers free returns for most unused and unopened items fulfilled by Amazon Australia or Amazon Global. You’re eligible if you’ve purchased your items within 30 days of delivery,
However, if your items weren’t shipped for free, original shipping fees are not refunded for change of mind returns. Return shipping fees may apply unless the item is eligible for free returns. And if it’s from a different seller, there may be other return policies in place. So it’s best to login to your Amazon account and go to the “Returns” section to get details on what’s available.
Can I click and collect with Amazon?
Yes, Amazon offers some click and collect services through Pickup Locations like Amazon Lockers, Counters, ParcelPoint and PO Boxes.
During checkout, select a nearby Pickup Location, choose your delivery option, provide your name for identification, complete your order and await an email notification for collection. Present a valid photo ID matching the name provided during checkout to collect your package.
Do Amazon’s payment options include buy now pay later?
Amazon Australia lets you split your purchases into instalments with Zip, a buy now, pay later service. It doesn’t apply to digital downloads like eBooks and apps.
