How does Better Homes & Gardens find these Temple & Webster codes and deals?
With more than 15 years of experience in the online deals space, our team have become experts at finding ways to help you get more bang for your buck. We’ve also picked up a thing or two about buying furniture and other homewares online – so it’s our mission to share the best discounts and the best tips for you.
We check for new deals daily, remove expired ones and read the fine print to help you get the details you want. Plus, we calculate how much you’re really saving, so you won’t have to guess.
How do I use Temple & Webster discount codes?
Using a discount code at Temple & Webster is easy. Here’s how:
- Add items and go to the checkout.
- In the “Order Summary” section, click on the plus sign next to the “Use Code” field.
- Pop in your discount code and hit “Apply.”
- That’s it! Your order summary will update to show your discount.

Can I use more than one discount code at a time?
Ah, we wish! Sadly, like most places, Temple & Webster only lets you use one discount code at a time. But some codes may be reusable during the promo period, so be sure to check out the fine print for all the details.
Is there a discount for first time orders?
If you’re new to Temple & Webster, you’re in for a treat! You can score $25 off your first order when you sign up for their mailing list. Just wait for the code to pop into your inbox, copy it, and use it on orders over $199.

You can also get $20 off your first in-app purchase over $199.
What other ways can I save at Temple & Webster?
Temple & Webster also offers a few other always-on discounts you can use to save:
- Refer a friend: Share a referral code with a friend who’s never shopped with Temple & Webster and you’ll both get $25 off your next order over $199.
- Filter by free shipping: When you’re browsing, look for the free shipping filter. It usually applies to metro areas and can save you some serious cash on delivery.
- Check if you can register for Trade and Commercial: It may be a bit niche for most people, but if you run a business or are working with, say, an interior designer, you could get $50 off your first trader order when you register with your ABN.
How often does Temple & Webster have sales?
Like us, Temple & Webster loves a good sale! The retailer offers discounts and promotions year-round, joining in with major shopping events including Black Friday, Boxing Day, Click Frenzy, Afterpay Day and more.
It also has seasonal sales and a sale section on the site where you can shop by category or budget – starting from $50. Some categories also have a filter for clearance items that can be heavily discounted. For example, we recently found discounts from 16% to 69% in the clearance section for chairs, quilt cover sets and mirrors.
Shipping, payments & returns
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs can vary depending on things like weight, size, location, and the carrier. But don’t worry, you’ll be able to get an estimate as soon as you enter your postcode at checkout.
For a quick idea, we checked delivery costs for a three-seater sofa bed:
- Sydney: $49.95
- Melbourne: $39.95
- Brisbane: $80.95
- Perth: $140.95
Does Temple & Webster offer free shipping or discounts?
Every now and then, Temple & Webster sometimes runs promotions with free shipping, flat rates, or other shipping discounts. These are usually limited to specific items or metro areas, so check the details when you’re shopping. You can also keep an eye on our site for updates or use the free shipping filter while browsing.
What happens if I’m not home for a delivery?
Don’t worry, Temple & Webster has a few ways to manage this situation.
- If your order is being delivered by Allied Express (typically larger items), they will try to re-deliver it on another day at no extra cost. But it does need to be during business hours. Otherwise, you can fill in an Authority to Leave card – there’s a link for this in the email that includes shipping details.
- For Australia Post deliveries, you’ll get a card in the letterbox, or an email or text to let you know how to pick it up or arrange delivery.
How long does shipping take?
The time it takes to get your order depends on the product, your location and the carrier, among other things. You’ll get an estimated delivery time at the checkout and you’ll also get updates once your order is on the way.
Typically, orders are dispatched within one to three business days. But during peak periods or for certain items, dispatch and delivery times may be longer.
If you’re on a tight schedule, you can search for items that are available for next-day or fast-track dispatch.
What happens if my order is damaged or faulty?
Ideally, you won’t have to worry about this happening. But if you do have issues with an order, keep in mind that you have rights under Australian Consumer Law – and Temple & Webster has policies that line up with this.
- If you’re home for a delivery and it’s damaged, take photos or video, refuse to accept it and contact Temple & Webster through the live chat service.
- If you notice damage after delivery, take photos or a video of the issues and contact Temple & Webster straight away (or within three business days of receiving your delivery if that’s possible).
After reporting the issues, Temple & Webster will work with you on a solution. And if items need to be returned and refunded, they will cover the cost.
What is Temple & Webster’s return policy
Temple & Webster offers a 30-day return policy if you change your mind about something. But you have to cover the shipping costs for the return and typically get a store credit rather than a refund.
There are also some exceptions to the return policy, including made-to-order products, mattresses and clearance items.
If you want a full refund instead of store credit for a change of mind return, you can buy “Purchase Protection” at the checkout for an extra fee. This lets you return the item within 100 days for a full refund.
What payment methods does Temple & Webster accept?
Temple & Webster’s secure checkout gives you a choice of paying with a credit or debit card (American Express, Mastercard of Visa), Google Pay, Afterpay, PayPal (including Pay in 4) and Zip Pay.
Can I buy the products in store?
At the moment, Temple & Webster is online-only, so you can’t shop in-store.
