Switching to warmer bedding is a seasonal change I look forward to. There’s nothing nicer on a cold night than being in a bed that feels like a warm hug. But some people leave it too late and suffer through winter nights with summer sheets.

What is a good thread count for flannelette sheets?
Cosying up to a set of flannelette sheets in the colder months can’t be beat. So, when it comes to thread count (TC), we suggest a 180 to 200 TC as the sweet spot for warmth and ultimate snuggle.
Do flannelette sheets keep you warmer?
In short, yes, flannelette sheets do retain heat and keep you warmer than standard sheets. Flannelette sheets are created with 100 per cent brushed cotton or a polyester fibre. Both of these materials feature a napped surface which creates a layer of insulation that traps the body heat in.
