What date is Afterpay Day 2025?
The second Afterpay Day event for 2025 will run from Thursday, 14 August to Sunday, 17 August, lasting a full four days of deals and discounts.
What brands are participating in Afterpay Day 2025?
The mass sale event is offering thousands of products and experiences across travel, tech, fashion, beauty and homes. The Iconic, Sephora, Jetstar, Dyson, Seed Heritage and Rebel Sport are expcted to participate in Afterpay Day 2025 – just to name a few.
Is the Afterpay Day sale only online?
While some retailers may offer Afterpay Day deals in-store, most of the best offers are found online – and that’s where you’ll have the widest selection, too. To avoid missing out on limited-time discounts or exclusive online-only offers, it’s worth shopping directly through brand websites or major online retailers. Plus, it’s way easier to compare prices (and fill your cart from the couch).
What is Afterpay?
Afterpay is a ‘buy now, pay later’ service that lets you buy things without having to pay the full amount upfront from thousands of online stores. You pay in four interest-free instalments over six weeks – making it an especially useful service for spreading out the cost of a big purchase. Just be careful not to miss payments as to avoid a $10 late fee!
Do you have to use Afterpay to shop the sale?
Not necessarily. While Afterpay Day is run by Afterpay, many participating retailers let you check out with other payment options – including credit cards and PayPal – and still access the same discounts.
That said, if you do choose Afterpay, you’ll be able to split your purchase into four interest-free instalments over six weeks. It can be a handy way to manage bigger buys, just make sure to stick to the payment schedule to avoid late fees.
A helpful reminder for shoppers this sales season: You do always have right to a refund, repair of replacement under consumer legislation when an item is faulty (even if it’s on sale).
